Hemingway Editor Plus now offers a range of new tools to take your writing to the next level. With these features, you'll gain more control over the editor to produce bolder writing. Here's what's new:
Turn off specific highlights
We're giving you more control over your editing experience. Need to zero in on a specific aspect of your text? You can now turn off highlights by type. For example, if you aren’t concerned about adverbs, you can switch them off. Or, if you aren't focused on conciseness, you could turn off the yellow sentence highlights. Now it’s easy to get the exact Hemingway experience you need.
Fix adverbs with AI
Editor Plus subscribers can use our new AI tool to make their writing more bold. It replaces weakening adverbs with forceful verbs. For example, instead of "She spoke very loudly," it might suggest "She thundered."
Counts of passive voice, adverbs, and qualifiers
In the right sidebar, a new "View details" button shows which types of weakening phrases you use most. It displays separate counts of passive voice, adverbs, and qualifiers. You can also toggle any of these categories off to focus on others.
